Kate's training in intimacy choreography began as part of her stage combat training in college. She later took workshops with Intimacy Directors International and more recently with Theatrical Intimacy Education. She has choreographed intimacy for Strawdog Theatre Company, Big Noise Theatre, First Floor Theatre, The Barrens Theatre Company, and North Central College. She is also passionate about using consent work in her stage combat classrooms.
